Garment Specification and Design

Microknit V takes a fabric specification and size chart creating shaping instructions for the garment.  The shaping instructions can then be sent to a number of different computerised knitting machine controllers.  Microknit V reduces the amount of time needed to take a designer's idea to the knitting machine, along the way calculating knitting times and weights, producing rib and trim sheets, and providing documentation for the whole factory.

Yarn Planning and Stock Control

Microknit Yarn keeps track of the material that makes all garments, from ordering, to the yarn store, issue to the knitting machines.  It tracks how much yarn has been used to make each order providing a cross check with costings.

Production Monitoring

Microknit Machine Monitor allows the manager to see how their factory is being utilised.  It shows when machines have been stopped and how many garments have been produced.  Production can be viewed by shift and by operator.  Sensors can be fitted any type of machine giving a complete view of the whole manufacturing process.

Garment Sizing Quality Control

Microknit Garment Measuring provides a complete history of garment sizing for a particular style.  Garments are measured using a digitising tablet; results are compared to the size chart and anomalies flagged.  It helps to give peace of mind to your customers that you view sizing issues as being important.
